Altrady Support Altrady Support

Why is my Altrady balance different to the exchange?

If the connection looks healthy (status shows Synced, no error banner) but your Altrady total still doesn’t match the exchange, first narrow down what kind of difference it is, since most cases have their own article:

One case is specific to this article: a total that looks doubled on Bybit.

Bybit shares one balance across spot and futures

On Bybit, your spot and futures wallets are effectively a single unified account (UTA), so the same tokens and balances belong to both. Altrady keeps a separate trading account for each (one spot, one futures) and shows those shared tokens and balances under each one. When you connect Bybit, add the spot and futures accounts at the same time: that lets Altrady recognise they share a balance and count each coin only once in your totals. See Connect Bybit for the connection steps.

If you added them separately, or your totals still look doubled, reach out through support chat so we can check the accounts are linked correctly.

Confirm the sync actually finished

Open the account and check the status. It should read Synced, not Syncing account… or Sync failed. If you connected a futures account, give it a little extra time: futures accounts can take up to 60 seconds to sync the first time. If the status shows anything other than Synced, that’s a different problem: see balances or positions aren’t syncing or use the Resync icon to force a fresh pull.

If you do use Refresh balances or the Resync icon, avoid clicking it repeatedly in a short span, no more than about every 20 seconds for the same account. Each click sends a fresh request to the exchange, and clicking too often can trigger the exchange’s own rate limits and temporarily suspend your API key rather than speed anything up. See how do I manually refresh or resync my balances? for the full rundown.

Still stuck?

If you’ve gone through all of the above and the numbers still don’t add up, our support team is happy to take a look. Reach out through the in-app support chat with your exchange name and account details handy.
