Altrady app won't load, freezes, or crashes: how to fix it

If Altrady won’t load, freezes, or crashes, work through these in order. Most cases clear up with a reload or by clearing the app’s stored data.

Reload, then force reload

On the desktop app, open the View menu and click Reload. This refreshes the app like a browser tab and clears most blank-screen or stuck-loading moments. If a plain reload doesn’t help, go back to View and choose Force Reload (or press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+R), which reloads while ignoring anything held in memory. The equivalent for the browser is Reload.

Blank or black screen: clear the app’s stored data

A blank or black screen on the desktop app is usually corrupted local data, and clearing it fixes it. See how do I clear the app cache? for the full walkthrough.

Check your connection

A screen that never finishes loading is sometimes a connectivity problem rather than an app one. Check that your internet is up, and that a firewall, VPN, or antivirus tool isn’t blocking Altrady. Check whether you can access Altrady using a different network or device.

Still on an old version? Update

If the app is stuck or missing features (for example a sparse View or Help menu, or a blank MCP Server page), you may be on an old desktop version with a bug that’s since been fixed. Install the current version: see how do I update the desktop app?.

Send your logs to support

If none of the above works, support can dig deeper from your logs. On the current desktop app, open the Help menu and use the option to open the logs folder, then attach the most recent log file when you reach out. Grab the logs in the same session the problem happened, right after it occurs, so they capture it. The logs folder is desktop-only; it isn’t available in a browser.

Still stuck?

If Altrady still won’t load, keeps freezing, or crashes after all of this, reach out through Get help with your logs attached and your operating system, so support can see exactly what happened.
