Calculate DCA rebuy from actual position size i.s.o. initial order size

I propose to use the "standard" method to compute the DCA rebuys from the preceeding position size. "Normally", in a DCA ladder the initial order is DCA0 and subsequent rebuys are DCA1-n. Suppose we have a simple DCA schema for DCA0=50 units and subsequent target quantities as DCA1=100%, DCA2=100% and DCA3=100% and DCA4=100% Then I would expect the position size to develop as follows: DCA0=50, DCA1=100, DCA2=200, DCA3=400 units, DCA4=800. However, the new bots compute the position size as DCA4=250; (every rebuy is calculated from the initial order size and not the progressing ordersize after rebuys). This is complex and confusing.

The method you mention was used by ZIgnaly bot, and initially everyone found that very confusing and non-intuitive. But we got used to it and after a while it seemed like the "normal way". But Zignaly bot is the only place this method is used, and it was probably adopted because it's easier to code, not easier for users.
New users find the method Altrady has adopted to be much simpler- to understand-for calculating position sizes, order prices, SL prices etc.

If you like the settings you used in Zignaly and would like to know the equivalent Altrady settings, I can help with that.
