Binance Futures Hedge mode

I can get round this with multiple accounts, but I hope this is implemented

Isn't it already different positions if you don't select "reduce only" ? Otherwise that's a huge lack here... Hedging position has saved my ass more than once

This is an absolute required feature, I trade actively with Hedge mode.
FTX will be available in December tho so that will allow us to trade with Hedge mode by default since FTX doesn't have that specific "Side Mode" setup in their API as opposite to Binance.

I just checked and indeed Hedge mode is not available and that's a huuuuge cons.
However FTX is coming in december and we should be able to trade in Hedge mode by default with FTX

A highly desire feature use by traders.

Extremely necessary, I would love it to have it on Altrady. I now have a problem to use Altrady without that.

We need hedge mode!

Hedging position on Binance Futures is enabled trough a littlle parameter in their API I believe it shouldn't be that hard to adjust.
Hedging has saved my a** so many times avoiding liquidation and even making more money than my initial one side position.
I don't understand why not more people are asking for this feature, it's amazing and Binance Futures are the only one to allow it.
Here is an example: say you are crazy and you want to go Long on BTC with a huge quantity, say 10 BTC for example. Since you are not sure that your entry price will be the rock bottom you can add a Hedged Short at the same entry price (with a stop loss) to avoid liquidation. Indeed you go long with 10 BTC you better have a big margin balance in you Futures account. But by using a Hedged Short position you don't need that :)

Do you guys are planning to have hedge mode for bincance.com? It would be amazing, and really necessary.

AFAIK Altrady can only do netted positions. It would be great to trade with hedged positions. Much simpler with strategies using multiple short and longs.

Netted = multiple positions in the same pair are seen as one position.
hedged = every position is seperate.

Would be amazing to have the ability to do this. I use this feature quite a bit when trading direct.

It would really usefull as a lot of trading strategies are based on hedge mode trading

also requesting for Bybit Futures Hedge Mode support

And on ByBit and Kucoin Futures please as Binance futures is unavailable in Australia

What is the progress of the hedge mode implementation? Will it be realised?

2 years ago.... And still nothing :( The only reason, I don't use Altrady

I think this item should be delisted form the Active development. May be it is good to clean up all the old items to have a clear view on what will be realised.
